A Martial Law Musical for Generation Y

Returning on the PETA stage from its short run last April, the martial law musical “A Game of Trolls” is having a longer run this September 1 to 30 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City.

In a recent press launch, the entire cast, a mix of previous and new faces, showcased excerpts that will entice and arouse our curiosity why this production was touted as the musical for the millennials.

It was pretty cool seeing spoken word artist Juan Miguel Severo in the cast, including singer TJ Valderama alternating as Hector the troll.

"Importante ang magkwento. Yung kwento na pumapanig sa katotohanan. And we support PETA with their endeavor because parallel din ang endeavor namin (Dakila) sa kanila." - Chai Fonacier, Dakila

"Mahalaga yung ginagawa ng PETA. Nagdesisyon ang PETA na buhayin ulit sa ating mga millennials ang alaala ng Martial Law. Napaka-importante ang initiative na ito na dapat suportahan niyo.." - Mae Rodriguez, Bantayog ng mga Bayani

Directed by PETA Artistic Director Maribel Legarda, written by Liza Magtoto and music by Vincent de Jesus.

The cast of “A Game of Trolls” includes Myke Salomon, TJ Valderama, Upeng Galang-Fernandez, Gail Guanlao-Billones, Vince Lim, Gold Villar-Lim, Lemuel Silvestre, Joseph Madriaga, Kiki Baento, Gilbert Onida, John Moran, Juan Miguel Severo, Norbs Portales, Roi Calilong, Jasper Jimenez, Ada Tayao, Lea Espallardo, Icee Po, Nieves Reyes, Dan Cabrera, Jason Barcial, and Justin Castillo.
