ABS-CBN leads SG-TAM ratings among Filipino channels in Singapore


MANILA, Philippines – FC (The Filipino Channel) maintains its lead among Filipino TV stations in Singapore during the second quarter of the year and as it heads into the third quarter. This is according to the official source of television audience measurement in the country, SG-TAM.

The global flagship channel of Philippine broadcasting network ABS-CBN shows its advantage throughout April, May, and June based on its average daily reach and average time spent for PayTV audience (Singtel only, Starhub only, Singtel and Starhub subscribers) peaking at 4,300 daily audience and 88 minutes, respectively.

This is followed by TFC’s lead with average daily reach at 3,400 and average time spent 1 hour and 20 minutes for PayTV audience among the Filipino Channels tracked by SGTAM in July.

Similarly, TFC dominates both weekday and weekend household viewing across this period with weekday cumulative net reach peaking at 7,800 in Q2 and at 6,800 in July.

Philippines’ primetime news TV Patrol is the most watched weekday program in July which peaked at 3.9, while the action drama FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano concludes its seven-year run on a high note coming in second at 2.3. 90% of the top 20 weekday programs are from The Filipino Channel. And all top 10 programs are from TFC.

All top 5 weekend programs are from TFC with TV Patrol Sabado peaking at 3.3 and the second season of the reality talent search Idol Philippines at 3.1.
