“Kuya” Bodjie Pascua stars in PETA’s newest science fiction rap-musical 3 Stars and a Sun featuring the music of late Filipino rapper-activist Francis Magalona.
Pascua plays the character of Mang Okik, an old hermit who grasps at the last remaining shreds of his sanity while staying in touch with his Filipino roots.
According to Bodjie, he was nervous about the thought of rapping onstage, but felt really excited and happy by the thought of playing a crazy person.
