Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram are down

PHILIPPINES – Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger is experiencing a service disruption. According to reports on downdetector.com, started experiencing issues connecting to the popular social media platforms as early as 11:56AM EDT (11:56PM in the Philippines) downdetector.com.

This is turning out to be one of the largest Facebook downtimes ever. The last major Facebook outage occurred on November 2018, where all three platforms also went down.
