PHILIPPINES – The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mama Mary, the mother of Jesus, celebrates traditionally her birthday on September 8 (today). In the Philippines, Mother Mary’s birthday is being celebrated as thousands of devotees from all over the country flock to churches to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and receive blessings from the virgin mother.
