History Con 2018: Third Time is A Charm; Tsoukalos Makes Comeback

On board to welcome  all the ViPs, distinguished  guests and most  especially  the  STARS of some of  History Channel's great shows Ride N Seek, Celebrity Card Wars, Who  Runs the  World of Lifetime, Vikings and of course Ancient Aliens is A&E Networks Asia Country  Head, ,Jacque Ruby, who has been there since History Con's first edition in 2016.   

For this  year Jaime  Dempsey of Ride  N Seek were back in town. She is a History Con fixture and crowd favorite eversince.

Celebrity Car Wars on  it''s 3rd season  is represented  by car  enthusiasts actors Diego Loyzaga and Xian Lim. See them wreck those expensive cars!

Lifetime Channel's Who Runs the World  has Mong Chin Yeoh as it's main host  shared her many tips  on fashion  and  beauty and  exciting travel experiences in and  around Asia.

A first timer in the Philippines and Asia, Vikings' Queen Lagertha portrayed by Katheryn Winnick said she's so happy to be in Manila.

"I have heard so many nice things about the Philippines. Most especially the beaches and your countrysides."

Making a comeback after two year's is Ancient Alien's Giorgio Tsoukalos, who has gained more popularity and demand for his knowledge in alien beings and other extra terrestial related stuff.

History Con guests also got the chance to meet and greet the History channel program hosts until 12 August and took home signed souvenir posters. Noticing that most of the crowd are repeat audience who all took time to participate again this year.  

During the presscon, expressed excitement to meet and mingle with the fans and supporters of History Con.

Mong Chin was all praises for her recent trip to Cebu as a segment in her show. She loved the food, the place and most espcially the people who were warm and so friendly.

Xian Lim who faces car competition in Celebrity Car Wars with four other Asian celebrities is impressed how massive the show is and it can afford to destroy really nice cars. "the show has the budget to wreck these expensive cars!" he exclaimed.

Ancient Alien's Giorgio got the chance to visit the National Museum of Natural History and was so impressed of its content and encourages more people to come and visit.

"You guys have one of the best Natural Anthropology museums and you should come and visit"

History Con 2018 is brought to all of us by A&E Network Asia and featured at least 900 exhibitors that ranged from collectibles, to gadgets, to cars and bikes and other memorabilia collectibles and more stuff. Event was also not complete with all the avid cosplayers who are frequent attractions in almost all conventions for comics and toys and the likes.

Among the competitions that took place were the Airsoft War Game Tournament, Wrestling Showcase by the Manila Wrestling Federation, Bladed Weapon Sparring, 3X3 Retro Basketball Tournament, and History Bee Inter-school Competition.
