It seems like its final already, Jennylyn Mercado and the other half of the popular tandem “AlDub“, Alden Richards will topbill the the Filipino adaptation of Korean drama “My Love from the Star.”
Media reports affirm that the two Kapuso actors will lead the new offering of Kapuso network. The Korean drama was earlier starred by actor Kim Soo Hyun and actress Jun Ji Hyun.
Meanwhile, AlDub nation was disappointed upon learning that Maine Mendoza will not play the role of Steffi Cheon and will not be the love interest of Alden’s character. Since the news of the adaptation broke out, the AlDub nation was eager in pushing the AlDub tandem to topbill the hit Korean drama series.
“My Love From The Star” aired in the country last year and instantly became a hit on its timeslot. “Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart,” “My Name is Kim Sam Soon,” “Temptation of Wife,” and “Coffee Prince” are some of the hit Korean drama series that were remade by GMA Network for Philippine television.
GMA Network has to make its official announcement soon.
