Remembering SHINee Kim Jong Hyun’s Final Solo Concert


As indicated by the video date when Kim Jong Hyun of SHINee held one of his solo concerts in Seoul. He actually did several solo shows graced by loyal Shawol fans.

This particular concert was also attended by band mates Taemin and Minho seated in the crowd who cheered for their fellow singer. Jonghyun even acknowledged and joked about them while onstage.

He went solo in 2015. Earlier this year, SHINee released their fifth Japanese album Five, and toured across Japan until April. 

According to Reuters, police found Jonghyun unconscious in his apartment in Cheongdam-dong in the Gangnam district after his sister filed a police report concerned for his welfare. He was taken to hospital after being found at 6.10 pm Korea time on December 18th, but was pronounced dead. Cause of passing was suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.

The KPop community mourns the untimely demise of one of their brilliant and gifted singer-composers. Several boy bands and girl groups including BTS, EXO, Girls' Generation have already sent in their utmost condolences. Millions of SHINee followers, SHAWOLs, have turned to social media to express their grief, sorrow and fondest memories of the 27 year old KPop icon.

SHINee also has a large following here in the Philippines and just last March 2, 2017. the boy band together with fellow KPop artists, B.A.P, CNBLUE, B1A4, Psy, BTOB and AOA performed to thousands of fans for the One K Global Peace concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
