Fondly called "Bo Gummy" by his legion of fans and supporters, Bo Gum, 25, is a fashion and style model aside from being an actor, singer and global endorser.
He began is acting career with the movie Blind in 2011 followed by Runway Cop in 2012 and A Hard Day alongside The Admiral: Roaring Currents in 2014. His film to date Coin Locker Girl was released in 2015 and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The role earned him a nomination for Best New Actor in Film at the Baeksang Arts Awards and won him a Rising Star Award at the 11th MaxMovie Awards.
But on the small screen Bo Gum made his debut in 2012 for Hero, Drama Special "Still Picture" and Bridal Mask
He also did Wonderful Days and Naeil's Cantabile in 2014.
Bo Gum busied himself with The Producers and his notable dual roles in Hello, Monster back in 2015 all the way into appearing for Reply 1988 in 2015-2016 to rave reviews.
But what catapulted him into further fame was 2016's hit KBS drama Love in the Moonlight where he portrayed Crown Prince Yi Yeong. It was a domestic and overseas hit and was awarded Best Drama Series by the 22nd Asian Television Awards and received multiple nominations for the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards and was given the Popularity Award to Bo Gum and his co-star Kim Yoo Jung.
Due to it's huge success, Gummy, his fellow castmates and prod of Love in the Moonlight went here in Cebu also in 2016 to spend their well-deserved victory adventure!
His latest drama was Encounter 2018-2019 alongside with fellow hallyu star and good friend Song Hye Kyo where Gummy fell in love with a mature female character. As expected the recent drama garnered one of the highest ratings in cable television history according to Wikipedia.
