The Power of YouTube Celebrated During #FanFest2017

Highlights of the online sensation event was Lily "iiSuperwomanii" Singh and our very own Jollibee sharing the stage with dancer Matt Steffanina.

Now on its third straight year, YouTube recently celebrated #Fanfest2017 in a jampacked World Trade Center attended by thousands of YT's fans and supporters. And these peeps came from all over with some coming in costumes and cute accessories.

It was an interesting line up of local and international YouTube sensations that featued Lilly Singh aka IISuperwomanII, Alex Wassabi, LaurDIY, Jayden Rodrigues, JuNCurryAhn, Megan Nicole, Matt Steffanina, and local sensations Janina Vela, Kristel Fulgar, Lloyd Cadena, Ranz Kyle and Niana Guerrero, Daniel Marsh, Haley Dasovich, Wil Dasovich, and Alienette Coldfire.

Hosted by a YouTube sensation himself, Mikey Bustos @mikeybustos fascinated the crowd with his multiple costume changes all throughout the show. In fact, I lost counting! Woot woot Mikey!

The three-hour show was cheered by a very young crowd of millenials with a mix of Generation X-ers (like yours truly) .

Australian choreographer Jayden Rodrigues, showed off his dancing prowess  @jrod_hd

LA-based dancer-choreographer Matt Steffanina had a cute dance showdown with our very own Jollibee who was always a crowd-pleaser. @mattsteffanina

I was priviledged meeting this guy last year and he's really funny. Lloyd Cafe Cadena did a dance number featuring "Ang Kulit" by Vice Ganda.    @lloydcafecadena

Teener Kristel Fulgar sang her own cover of Yeng Constantino's "Salamat." @kristelfulgar

Janina Vela , grand daughter of the late radio and TV icon, Ms. Helen Vela, also performed her own version of "Hawak Kamay"  @janina.vela

Korean YT sensation Jun Sung Ahn (aka JunCurryAhn) played the violin version of "Who's It Gonna Be". The audience got even more excited and screamed at the top of their lungs when he also delivered one of the soundtrack numbers from popular Korean Drama Goblin, starring my favorite Gong Yoo.   @juncurryahn

Next up, Wil Dasovich, Haley Dasovich, Daniel Marsh, and Alex Wassabi wowed the crowd with their funny antics as these sensations took a lot of selfie's and groupies with the audience.

I did not know Lauren (LaurDIY) is sooo pretty upclose!  The true to life lovey-dovey couple sang  "My Side" which made me soooo envious!   @laurdiy

American teener Megan Nicole showcased her original songs "Mascara" and "Checklist". Such a talented young performer.  @megannicolemusic

Local online stars Ranz Kyle and Niana Guerrero danced to our heart's delight. They are also MILO energy drink endorsers. @ranzkyle  @nianaguerrero

Alienette Coldfire , a finalist of France Has Got Incredible Talent sang a couple of French songs, one of which was an original from her. She is such an inspiration that despite being visually-impaired did not stop her from showcasing innate and God-given talents.  You rock girl!

Just when Lilly Singh (akaIISuperwomanII) of Toronto, Canada came out, did i recognize her from the YT videos I've seen of her from a year back. Her funny side and street-smart singing prowess made her all the more loved by millions of fans globally! @iisuperwomanii

A YouTube Creator Camp session was also held which featured tips and suggestions on how one can be a YouTube sensation as well. As shared by a fellow blogger friend, a leading YT personality is now enjoying online popularity after attending last year's #YTFF same camp session.  Nothing is really impossible in this world!

Who will be YouTube's FanFest line up next year? It could be YOU!

Many thanks to our friends at Team Asia for the awesome invite.
