Mesmerizing Boho Chic Myx Music Awards Night 2015

It was a fun and astig night for OPM as Myx Channel Philippines  celebrated its Myx Music Awards 2015 ceremonies at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura in BGC.

The event called for a Bohemian aka Boho Chic look so it was a feast for us from the media to give extra round of applause to artists and guests who went the extra mile to come in their sassiest Bohemian-inpired vogue on the red carpet.

Among the performers who graced the night were Jonalyn Viray, Inigo Pascual, Julie Anne San Jose, Yeng Constantino, Nadine Lustre, James Reid, Sam Concepcion and Sandwich.

These presenters added extra spice (and everything nice) to the occasion brother-sister Maxene and Elmo Magalona, Alex Medina, Roxanne Barcelo, Gloc 9, Kylie Padilla, Julian Trono, Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, Marc Abaya, The Voice Philippines 2015 champ Jason Dy, cager brothers Jeron and Jeric Teng and Rico Blanco who presented the final two awards of the night.

Highlight of the evening was the Magna Award presented to Mr. Hitmaker Rey Valera who was in Davao but sent a short but sweet Thank You video for his recognition. A medley tribute of his favorite and well- loved songs were rendered to the highest level by Christian Bautista, Kyla, Richard Poon, Angeline Quinto, Eric Santos, KZTandingan, and Vina Morales which brought me goosebumps! Ang galeeeeeeng! According to Valera, he was having “myx-ed” emotions when bestowed with the deserving award.

Dominant awardee of the night was Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo who personally accepted her trophies for Favorite
Female Artist, Favorite Remake (Maybe This Time), Favorite Artist and Favorite Music Video (Tayo directed by Avid Liongoren).

Very thankful for her (4) awards, Sarah was caught short for words in between her acceptance speeches. Present of course to cheer for her winnings were her loyal Popster Fan Club. SG also sang and danced to upbeat “Kilometro” to the delight of everyone in the crowd. Even myself napaindak ni Princess Sarah…

As expected sikat na sikat teen love teams “JaDine” Nadine Lustre-James Reid and “KathNiel” Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla took home Myx Awards trophies in their respective categories. Wooot kayo naaaa!

Nominees spotted among the chic crowd were Jay R and his lovely girlfriend date, Ely Buendia and Pupil, Abra, at si Yael with SpongeCola. and the ever sexy Ms. Iya Villania-Arellano.

These Myx Ph Vjs and hosts were in their tip top elements all throughout the evening. My kudos to Vj Chino Pio, Ai dela Cruz, Nikki Gil and personal friend Robi Domingo! Galeeeeng as always. Hats off to new Vjs Tippy Dos Santos, Erica Abella and Diego Loyzaga- Montano. You guys did great on your 1st Myx Awards! Clap clap clap!
